Privacy & pre-orders
Contact Jamesfield at jamesfieldfarm@btconnect.com, 01738 850498, or Jamesfield Centre, Abernethy Road, Newburgh KY14 6EW.
Making a pre-order
All bundles and hampers are made to order. Checkout prepares an email in your email app. You must press Send to deliver it. If your email app does not open, copy the request and email it to us. Your request is not an accepted order until our team confirms contents, availability, the total and your collection or delivery arrangements.
Pay in person at Jamesfield Farmshop on collection. Delivery is cash on delivery and requires a confirmed product total over £45. Delivery area, fee and date are confirmed by the team. Please wait for confirmation before travelling to collect. Contact us directly for changes or cancellations.
Your information
We use the name, email, telephone number, preferences and requested date you send to respond to your enquiry and arrange your pre-order. For delivery we also need your address and postcode. We use this information to take steps at your request before an order and to fulfil confirmed orders. We do not ask for card details on this site.
Only send information needed for your request. If you share allergy or dietary information, include only what the team needs to discuss suitable products. Product suitability and cross-contact details must be confirmed directly with our team.
Browser storage & services
Your basket selections are saved locally in your browser so they remain between pages and visits. The pre-order checkout contact details are used to create an email draft and are not submitted to an order database. The separate enquiry form saves the details you submit in our private enquiry inbox so our team can reply. Your email provider handles sending that message. The website hosting service processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
The Ask Jamesfield guide sends your question to the website. It may use an AI provider if enabled. Please do not put personal, payment or sensitive information into that guide. Table reservations open our external booking service, which has its own privacy terms. Neighbouring businesses handle their own enquiries.
Anonymous website statistics
We use first-party anonymous daily totals to improve website content and navigation. We count page views, approximate visits and bundle interactions. We do not assign visitor IDs, store IP addresses in analytics, keep individual browsing histories, link statistics to enquiries or use them for advertising or targeted emails. A timestamp in your browser tab helps count visits after a 30-minute gap; it contains no identifier. Anonymous daily totals are kept for long-term weekly, monthly and year-to-year comparisons. A short-lived security rate limit is separate from statistics.
You can object free of charge using Turn Off Statistics in the statistics notice on every page. Your choice is remembered for 90 days in this browser. Previous refusals are respected. Turn On Statistics reverses that choice.
Customer enquiries
When you submit an enquiry, we keep your name if provided, email address, request, reply permission and optional follow-up preference for up to 180 days. These details are separate from anonymous website statistics. We use them to answer your request; one optional follow-up is only sent if you asked for it. You can withdraw that preference by replying. Automatic emails are not connected at present.
Your choices
Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information held in our enquiries and order records. We may need to retain information for legitimate business or legal requirements. You can remove basket data by clearing this website’s browser storage. For concerns about how information is handled, contact us first; you can also contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Staff phone notifications
Authorised Jamesfield staff can choose to receive a generic phone alert when an enquiry is saved. Alerts do not include a customer’s name, email or message. Staff must unlock the dashboard to read enquiries. Staff push-service addresses are stored for up to 90 days from registration and can be removed in the dashboard. Phone notification delivery uses the device browser’s push provider. Email alerts are not connected.
